PowerBoozt DC/DC charger with an input voltage between 12,2V and 17V, and an output voltage of 28,8V. The new models of EURO5/EURO6 vehicles is equipped with a low voltage alternator. Due to the standard relay these alternators are not capable of fully charging the batteries. This DC/DC charger can be delivered in two versions. Either Motion controlled (Trc-M) or Ignition controlled (Trc-IGN)and can be used as a charger/booster in the vehicle so that the secondary battery can be fully charged even with a low alternator voltage. Short description of the 2 models below: Trc-M series: Motion controlled. When engine is running it will detect the small vibrations and it will start charging the battery. When no vibrations are detected it will stop charging to ensure the starter battery is not drained. Trc-IGN series: Ignition controlled. When the D+ signal i active and/or the engine is running it will charge. When D+ signal is inactive or engine is stopped the charging will stop. The DC/DC charger is galvanic isolated and is protected against short circuit, over voltage and over heating. For further information please look in the manual.
